July was a quiet month,the exception being a spoonbill at Portobello island found and photographed by the Llancadle wader.

3rd-Med gull and a gannet at Cardiff bay,lesser whitethroat at Lavernock.Kittiwake at Portobello.

5th-Common sandpiper (12) at the Ogmore estuary.
6th-Storm petrel (3),common scoter (8),manx sheerwater (100+) and gannet(3) at Porthcawl front.Common sand on the river by Lamby lake.Cuckoo and redpoll at Llanhilid.
7th-Spoonbill at Portobello Island nr Ogmore,Gannet and Kittiwake from Cors Crycydd.
8th-A second black swan and a kingfisher at Cardiff bay.
11th-Marsh tit,blackcap and chifchaf at Roath park botanical gdns.
14th-Nightjar (3),little and tawny owl and Gropper in the Llynfi valley.Sedge warbler at Cardiff heliport.
16th-common sand at Lisvane reservoir and Cardiff bay along with a grey seal off shore.
17th-Med gull at Rumney Great Wharf.
19th-Little egret (2) at Cardiff bay
23rd-Med gull and golden plover at RGW.Kite sp. over Barry docks.
24th-Little egret over Lakeside,Cardiff,med gull on the barrage at Cardiff bay.
